  • Technical Lead

    Enquizit, Inc

    Enquizit is seeking Technical Lead with extensive Full Stack Development experience. This role requires detailed understanding of the nuances of software engineering and depth in a variety of technologies, platforms, languages, and frameworks to contribute to a wide array of projects. Technical Leads are experts in analyzing complex tasks and requirements and guiding a team through implementation. They establish effective team processes for high quality delivery of maintainable systems. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment and working cooperatively with a multi-functional team.

    Responsibilities :

    • Manages the software development work of the engineers on the team.

    • While the technical lead has the skills to do engineering work themselves, they will spend more time mentoring.

    • A technical lead coaches engineers on software development best practices, reviews pull requests, removes technical blockers, and helps the team navigate complex technical decisions. “A full stack people person.”

    Required Experience:

    • Demonstrate experience architecting systems on cloud platforms like AWS

    • Expert in web-development including front-end (browser) and back-end (server) including UI components, client-server integrations, APIs, and data persistence.

    • Ability to discuss abstract software development concepts like single-responsibility, cohesion, data immutability, and other paradigm appropriate design patterns.

    • Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn new systems and technology quickly.

    • Expert in at least one programming language like Java 8+, Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.

    • Proficient with the industry-leading framework(s) for the programming language expertise (Express.js, Gatsby.js, Django, Flasks, Rails, Spring.io, etc.).

    • Proficient with important libraries and technologies in the ecosystem of programming language expertise.

    • Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, and ability to quickly translate designs into CSS implementations.

    • Proficient with at least one front-end technology like React, Angular, Vue, Ember, Backbone, Svelte.

    • Expert in with advanced git commands like rebasing, squashing, and cherry-picking.

    • Ability to assist with agile ceremonies and sprint planning.

    • Ability to assist other engineers with source code management in git.

    • Ability to discuss technical tasks and team process topics with team members.

    • Basic understanding of container orchestration technologies like Amazon ECS and Kubernetes.

    • Basic understanding of “serverless” concepts and frameworks like Serverless and AWS Lambda.

    • Basic understanding of software infrastructure including network, compute, and data storage resources.

    • Basic understanding of securing systems on the application, network, and infrastructure layers.

    • Ability to operate and manage work, strategically reason, and build relationships and influence others.

    • Self-driven and motivated to achieve goals and deadlines.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

    • AWS Developer or Solution Architect certifications is a plus

  • Full Stack Developer
    Enquizit, Inc.

    Enquizit is seeking Full Stack Developers with extensive experience in development and maintenance of frontend and backend applications. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment and working cooperatively with a multi-functional team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development and maintenance of client-side and server-side applications.

    • Partners with product managers, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements and understand how your work will impact the business experience using modern open-source software to prototype, develop and deploy backend web applications, including all aspects of server-side processing, data storage, and integration with front end development.

    • Comfortable working in an agile and lean environment to routinely deploy changes.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of professional full stack development experience

    • Proficient in one of the modern languages, preferably in Java

    • Experience with developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment, preferably AWS

    • Familiarity with YAML and Ruby or other scripting

    • Experience with Test Driven Development, Self-Testing code, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

    Enquizit is seeking Back-end Engineers with extensive experience in architecting and coding in Java. Experience in other platforms such as PHP, Python, Ruby, .NET, JavaScript, Kotlin etc can be considered as well.     Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for curating the structure of server-side information. Write server scripts and API’s to be utilized by front side engineers and UX designers.

  • Front-end Engineer

    Enquizit is seeking Front-end engineers with extensive experience in building responsive and accessible user-facing web applications. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment and working cooperatively with a multi-functional team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Builds responsive and accessible user-facing web applications using modern development tools, techniques, and methods.

    • Works with a multidisciplinary team including design, research, product, and engineering, and ships products that meet the objectives of agency partners and the needs of users. Collaborates closely with designers and researchers to create and test functional prototypes and ensure all front-end code works in service of the wants, needs, and priorities of the people who interact with an agency’s products and services.

  • Devops Engineer

    Enquizit is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in technical, operational, security risk analysis and security automation in a hybrid cloud environment consisting of AWS Cloud and on-premise IT infrastructure. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment and working cooperatively within a multi-functional team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Experience serving as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.

    • Comfortable architecting and explaining processes and technologies with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Ensures system uptime and performance. Works to equip developers with the best tools to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably.

    • Experience in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Bash, and others to script installation, configuration, and provisioning.

    • Provides continuous delivery solutions in a cloud environment and has experience with the core suite of tools used to manage cloud providers.

  • Technical Product Manager

    Enquizit is seeking Technical Product Managers with extensive experience in new product development and developing iterations to existing products. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment and working cooperatively with a multi-functional team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manages the daily activities of the agile development team and facilitates the improvement of development culture.

    • Leads one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams to deliver excellent new products and/or iterations to existing products to meet user needs.
